Brief Overview
Officially opened in April 1995 by HRH Prince of Wales, The Diamond Centre at Rushden & Diamonds Football Club plays host to a wide range of social and business functions.
From civil weddings, product launches, sportsman's dinners, Christmas parties, training events and interviews, local people, companies and sports fans take advantage of the flexible conference facilities, accessibility, car parking, premier service and hospitality.
With the inclusion of the North Stand, The Diamond Centre operates 12 air-conditioned and well-appointed rooms, many overlooking the Nene Park Stadium. Added to this is, the Public Bar "Strikers" where a wide range of beverages and bar meals are available and "Seasons Bistro" where diners relax in the style of the Mediterranean.
The developments at Nene Park continue with the Dr. Martens Sports & Exhibition Centre. Operating as the day-to-day training centre for the football club, the centre also offers 600m2 clear space of a variety of sports use, fairs and exhibitions. A new all weather pitch offers further sports use or an area in which to play team-building games.
The Diamond Centre hosts matchday corporate hospitality for up to 600 guests in private hospitality suites and lounges.
