The contenders for the award are:

Simeon Jackson (Rushden & Diamonds)

Simeon took his tally to 14 goals for the season during November. The highlight of which was a brace in the televised clash with Oxford United. Jackson had trails with Manchester United and Manchester City during his early years with Rushden and also played a part in this year's FIFA Under 20 World Cup.

Lewis Chalmers (Aldershot Town)

Lewis was a key figure during the month, which saw The Shots head to the top of the Blue Square Premier table. Lewis became Aldershot boss Gary Waddock's first signing back in the summer after nearly 100 appearances for Altrincham earlier in his career. He is also part of the in-form England non-league set up under Paul Fairclough.

Simon Heslop (Halifax Town)

Simon is on loan from Championship team Barnsley, and immediately got the Halifax fans on his side with some excellent performances during the month. Heslop scored two league goals as The Shaymen went unbeaten during the period.

Chris Denham (Droylsden)

Droylsden avoided defeat in their three matches during November as they continued in their battle against the drop. Chris contributed to the cause with 3 goals including a double in the remarkable 5-3 home victory over play-off hopefuls Forest Green.

Craig Dobson (Stevenage Borough)

Last years FA Trophy "man-of-the-match" winner has continued his good form into this season. Dobson picked up another "man-of-the-match" award and both goals in his sides live TV clash with Altrincham, coming from behind to win 2-1. He also found the net in the 3-2 home defeat by Halifax Town.

Meanwhile the Blue Square Manager's of the Month have been decided, Cambridge United boss Jimmy Quinn has won the Blue Square Premier "Manager of the Month" award for November. Quinn's team achieved a 100% record for the month including notable victories away at Torquay and Burton. Cambridge also progressed to the second round of the FA Cup, by beating current Blue Square Premier leaders Aldershot. The award is judged by a panel of experts including Setanta Blue Square Premier pundit Paul Parker. Parker said: "When you look at the teams that Cambridge faced during the month you can see the scale of Jimmy's achievement, and they have maintained their unbeaten home record along the way".

In the Blue Square South the award goes to newly appointed Braintree Town manager Lee Patterson. And in the Blue Square North, Nuneaton Borough manager, and former Rushden & Diamonds striker Kevin Wilkin has scooped the award. The Boro climbed to sixth spot in the Blue Square North table with four wins during the period, three of which were away from home. Wilkin's side conceded only two goals during this time, and achieved a notable home victory over in form Hyde United.
