The midfielder has struggled to find a settled place in the Diamonds side, and what with a baby and young family, he has struggled with the travelling involved from his family home in Sheffield.

Manager Garry Hill commented "Fozzie lives in Sheffield and the travelling has become hard for him over a period of time. I respect his honesty and I've now got to look to the future."

The former Leeds United player has had spells at Oxford United and Halifax Town amongst other teams, making 23 appearances in the 2007/08 season for Diamonds.
