Diamonds bring in Dale Roberts

Rushden & Diamonds have signed 21 year-old Dale Roberts, on an initial month long loan from Coca Cola League One side Nottingham Forest, who will report into Nene Park on Thursday following Nottingham Forest's fixture with Millwall this evening.
The 6' 3" promising young Goalkeeper is a product of the Forest youth system and has been a regular on the first team bench for Forest during their current 2007/08 campaign. Dale also spent last season on loan at Conference North side Alfreton Town, where he made 47 appearances.

Dale is highly rated at the City Ground, with first choice keeper, Paul Smith commenting "I'm not planning on relinquishing my place in the side but I reckon Dale would more than cope if he got the opportunity to play in our first team."
Dale will be given squad number 30.
