Rushden & Diamonds have today secured the signing of Northern Ireland Under-21 international Michael Corcoran, following his released by mutual consent from Oxford United yesterday. He joins the Diamonds until the end of the season.

The twenty-year old Defender started his career at Cardiff City, working up through the youth system before moving to Oxford, initially on loan, and then signing permanently at the Kassam Stadium in May 2007. This season, he has made 14 starts, scoring one goal for the U's.

Corcoran will take squad number 26 for the Diamonds and will add defensive cover to Garry Hill's squad.
