Rushden & Diamonds have brought in striker David Brown on a month long loan from Accrington Stanley.

The twenty eight year old started his career at Manchester United as a trainee. However, after failing to break into the first team Brown was subsequently loaned out to Hull City, where the move was eventually made permanent with Brown becoming a first team regular at Boothferry Park, making 123 appearances and scoring 21 goals.

After a spell in Australia, Brown has since featured for Torquay United, Chester City, Telford United, Hereford United and most recently at Accrington Stanley, where he spent some of the time on loan at Burton Albion.

Brown checks in at Nene Park following Simeon Jackson's transfer to Gillingham earlier this evening.
