Martyn Margarson has today gone on loan to Soham Town Rangers. The Rangers play in the Ridgeons Premier Division, where they are currently top of the table. Margarson will stay there for one month.

Margarson has had loan spells at Long Buckby and Rugby Town this season, making this his third loan spell of the 2007/08 campaign.

Martyn has been at the Diamonds since 2004, when he signed as a scholar, working his way through the youth ranks at Nene Park. Towards the end of last season Margarson became Diamonds second choice keeper, and has made first team appearances in friendlies and cup competitions, the most recent being the Northamptonshire FA Hillier Cup game against Northampton Spencer. With competition for the goalkeeping place, Margarson's loan will bring him match experience in order to help his career development.
