Hillier Cup Final set for Tuesday 29th April 2008
Rushden & Diamonds will take on Brackley Town in the final of the Northamptonshire FA Hillier Senior Cup on Tuesday 29th April 2008 at 7.45pm.
The Diamonds reached the final by beating Corby Town 5-0, Cogenhoe United 4-1 and Northampton Spencer 4-2, whilst their opponents, British Gas Business (Southern Premier) League side Brackley defeated Woodford United 3-1, Raunds Town 6-1 and Rothwell Town 3-1 to progress through to the final.
Garry Hill's team will be looking to emulate last year's success and lift the cup for the second consecutive year. With 25 goals scored between the two sides so far in this season's competition this year's FA Hillier Senior Cup final promises to be a great spectacle.
Entry at the turnstiles costs £7 for adults and £4 for concessions.
