Torquay Fixture Re-arranged as Diamonds Look to the Setanta Shield Semi-Finals
Following a 4-0 win away at Northwich Victoria, Diamonds progress to the National Semi-Final (Northern Area Final) of the Setanta Shield to face either Halifax Town or Burton Albion at Nene Park. The game will be broadcast live on Setanta Sports, taking place on Wednesday 19th March 2008 at 7.45pm.
Ticket and admission pricing will be confirmed with the opposition club once known. Diamonds will find out their opponent on Thursday 13th March 2008 when Halifax and Burton play their Quarter-Final. The other Semi-Final, between the two Southern teams in the competition takes place between Aldershot and Woking on Tuesday 18th March 2008.
Due to the Semi-Final being broadcast live on Setanta Sports, our home Blue Square Premier tie against Torquay United, originally scheduled for the day before, has been rearranged to Thursday 17th April 2008, with kick off at 7:45pm. Tickets that have already been sold for the original date will still be valid for the rearranged date.
