The rearranged Quarter-Final between Halifax Town and Burton Albion took place tonight, with the Shaymen finishing 3-1 winners. Halifax Town therefore progress to the Setanta Shield Semi-Final, to play Rushden & Diamonds at Nene Park on Thursday 27th March 2008. The game will be priced at £10 for Adults, £5 for Concessions (OAP/Students), £2 for Under 16s and Under 8s are free.

The Diamonds progressed to the Semi-Finals by beating Cambridge United 1-0, Kidderminster Harriers 3-1 and Northwich Victoria 4-0, whilst Halifax made their way by knocking out Histon 2-1, Nuneaton Borough 1-0 and tonight beating Burton Albion 3-1.

In the other Semi-Final, Aldershot and Woking drew 2-2, with the Shots winning on penalties to book their place in the final against the winners of the Diamonds v Halifax game.

Unfortunately this game will not be televised on Setanta Sports.
