Injury Problems at Southend leads to recall of loan striker

On Sunday Southend United recalled loan striker Charles Ademeno from Rushden & Diamonds.

The nineteen year old striker, who has come through the ranks in Southend United's youth system, has had loan spells at Woking, Bishops Stortford, Cambridge United and Rushden & Diamonds, scoring once during his spell at Nene Park.

Southend United are currently pushing for promotion in League One. However, they have suffered from injuries and suspensions to much of their strike force recently and so have recalled the young forward to assist in their promotion push.
