First Team Coach, Kevin Hales, has left Nene Park with immediate effect after failing to agree contractual terms on a new deal.

Chairman, Keith Cousins, commented " Kevin's current deal with the Club expired at the end of this season and he was offered a new deal going forward for the 2008/09 campaign. Kevin decided to turn the offer down and subsequently resigned on Saturday evening.

It goes without saying that we wish Kevin and his family all the very best for the future but it is important as a Football Club that we now move on.We have an extremely busy month ahead in terms of fixtures not to mention our involvement in the Setanta Shield Cup Final tie at Aldershot Town this coming Thursday 3^rd April 2008, to which everyone connected with Nene Park wants to win.I would also like to remind our supporters that entry for Diamonds fans on Thursday is free providing a voucher is obtained from the Diamonds Club Shop before 12 noon on Thursday and I would urge as many supporters as possible to travel to the Recreation Ground and show their support for Garry and the team".
