The votes have all been counted, and the winner is?.

?.Andy Burgess. The twenty six year old winger has been voted as the 'Fans Player of the Season for 2007/08, recording the victory by a huge 95 votes.

Thanks to his Blue Square Premier goals, cup goals and tireless hard work, Michael Rankine finished in second place, with midfielder Curtis Woodhouse coming a very close third, with only 1 votes difference between the two.

Burgess will be presented with the award at the final home game of the season, Rushden & Diamonds v Aldershot Town, which is a 5:15pm Kick Off.

The lucky fan drawn out of the hat to present the award on the pitch is David Helm from Northampton.
