Stevenage Borough head the betting for the 2008/09 Blue Square Premier title after the appointment of Graham Westley at the end of last season. Paul Buckle's Torquay look fully equipped to mount another sustained challenge for promotion and are second favourites. Newcomers Wrexham and Mansfield Town are quoted at 7/1 and 10/1 respectively. Despite a few weeks of turmoil after their Wembley Play-Off defeat - Cambridge United have been the most popular choice of Blue Square punters at this early stage, with Rushden & Diamonds a close second.

In an open looking Blue Square North, AFC Telford head the betting lists at 7/1 closely followed by Southport. Last seasons early pacesetters Harrogate Town at 8/1 will be looking to sustain that run late into the campaign along with Hyde United at 14/1 who also had a good start.
