After some considerable effort by ground staff at Halstead Town over the past few days, it has been decided that the pre-season friendly planned for this weekend can now go ahead, but the game has been re-scheduled for Friday 11th July 2008 (7:45pm kick-off).

Staff from both teams have inspected the Rosemary Lane Ground pitch this afternoon and given the go-ahead for the game to take place. It will be the first opportunity to see some of manager Garry Hill's new signings in action.

Admission prices at the gate are as follows:

Adults £4.00; OAPs/Concessions £2.00;

Under 16's £1.00.
