Andy started his career here at Nene Park, rising through the youth team ranks to becoming an influential first team regular. After more than 200 appearances for the Diamonds, Burgess left in January 2006, moving to Oxford United where he impressed last season.
Burgess has proved his versatility during his time at Nene Park and the Kassam Stadium, where he can play in Central Midfield, Left Wing or Left Back, and adds important flexibility to Garry Hill's squad.
Andy is the third player to re-sign for the Diamonds this summer, joining Phil Gulliver and Jon Challinor in returning to Nene Park for the 2007/08 Blue Square Premier Campaign.
