Starting with Thursday's game versus Torquay United fans will be able to hear Radio Diamonds transmissions via the internet, including commentaries on home games as well as features and interviews before and after the game. Whether you live inside or outside of the reception area, will be able to pick up the service online - in fact wherever you are in the world.

The first broadcast on Thursday will be under test conditions, so please let us know if you experience any listening issues so we can rectify them before the next broadcast on Saturday for the Exeter City game.

Radio Diamonds will be back on the Internet from 6:30pm on Thursday 17th, and then from 1pm on Saturday 19th April, please bear with us for these few games whiles we sort out any issues under test conditions.

Helen Thompson, Chief Executive at Rushden & Diamonds said "Getting the radio station online has been something we have been looking at for quite a long time, and thanks to a chance conversation with one of our volunteers who writes the match previews and match reports on the Official Website, the Radio Diamonds Crew set up the online radio very quickly, making use of many of the existing assets to keep costs down. The commentary, interviews and other features popular with Radio Diamonds listeners in the local area can now be heard all over the world."

Pete Clawson and Jay Shears at Radio Diamonds said, "We'll still be broadcasting the old fashioned way on 1503AM, however this change means hopefully we'll get more listeners across a much wider area. Some of the other changes, such as moving towards a computer controlled studio, mean we can take big strides towards our goal of becoming a full time community radio station."
